Another painting from a series of dark fairy tales. This time a story of three little pigs and a big bad wolf… but with a small twist.

It is rare for an artist to get a project, that he planned on doing it on his own, but haven’t found the time yet. From my early childhood I was hooked on all kinds of stories, legends and fairy tales, and for a couple of years now I wanted to do my own vision for some of them. Soon I realized that original versions for most of the stories weren’t so kind and fluffy as they are shown these days, but rather dark, horrific tales of cruel acts, where death was a constant companion. Another series of paintings, done for Mobitel’s Christmas campaign. This one was quite a challenge, moving away from my usual dark and morbid illustrations, and creating something cheerful and with a holiday feel to it.
